FREE ANDROID APPS
So you've grabbed yourself an new mobile phone which uses ANDROID and your looking for some interesting apps to run within it? Well I guess that's the case which is why your having a nose here?
Below is some apps I have either used in the past or are using now that I may have enjoyed at sometime for some reason or other. Have a peek, take your pick and download for a try, most if not all these apps can be found in the Android Market app which is pre-installed on your phone.
To start with they are in no particular order or category, hopefully over time I will achieve this plus I shall add to this page as & when I try out more apps.
HANDCENT SMS *****
Is a free enhanced SMS & MMS app which 'unleashes' the power for your Android phone on messaging. It has too many features here to go on about it now but believe me this is one useful app and way out does the original on your phone. The best way of having a look is to visit the site here Handcent
LABYRINTH ****
Labyrinth is the classic game where you control a steel ball by tilting a wooden labyrinth. The full version cost's about £3.00 but if you want to try it out first, search for the free more limited version called: Labyrinth Lite - The main app can be located here Labyrinth
BUBBLE ****
A bubble level. Hold any of the phone's four sides against an object to test it for plumb/level, or lay it down on a flat surface for a 360° level. You can tap it to lock, calibrate each side & get it to flash or beep when it's level. Ok your not going to be using this that often but it's a fun little app and a must have .... kind of. Sorry unable to find an official link at the moment so search in the Android Market place but a video link is HERE
So that's three apps for the time being, I'll get as soon as possible as my system is playing up so I'm off for a re-boot - See you sonoon
